Are temporary employees able to file discrimination claims?

Return to FAQ Videos

Transcript:

Temporary employees, just like job applicants or current employees, are all equal in the eyes of the law, in terms of discrimination. In other words, an employer may not discriminate against a current employee, an applicant, or even a temporary worker. If you find yourself, for example, if you’re working over the holiday season in retail, just working for a few months, and you feel like you’ve been victimized, you have every right to bring those claims forward, as if you were a full-fledged employee.
