Can my employer fire me because of my religious beliefs?

Return to FAQ Videos

Transcript:

No, an employer may not use your religious beliefs as a basis for termination or discipline or any type of employment action. If you feel as through your employer has considered your religious beliefs as a basis, you have a claim for wrongful termination, and you should go immediately, if you’re still employed, and report it to your HR, or consider going to an employment lawyer or to an outside agency like the EEOC or the Florida Commission.
