How old does a minor have to be to work?

Return to FAQ Videos

Transcript:

In the state of Florida, the minimum age a minor can be to accept employment is 14 years old. Be careful if you’re the employer because they are limited as to the number of hours that they can work, and it depends on whether a school’s in session or out of session.
